Killing Us Softly

For a long time.

But think back to, you never saw a male in underwear in an advertisement until the 90s with Calvin Klein, right? I don't know if you're familiar with Jean Kilbourne, Killing Us Softly.

So she was a model and so was in the industry.

She I assume she's still alive, but she released a film which she's updated multiple times called Killing Us Softly, where she looks at advertising and images of

primarily

women in advertising.

And in her later renditions, I think it's like the fourth version of Killing Us Softly.

She speaks to the fact that now you're starting because that was just when those like Calvin Klein ads were coming out.
