of tax over in the uk they're planning to give local authorities the power to bring in fees for visitors for overnight stays and the theory is that it means more money can be invested in local areas that are subject to significant tourism and many are suggesting that it would be a good way to go in ireland including jack chambers who has previously said that he is positively disposed towards the notion which with us is michael pigeon dublin city green party councillor michael will this not be intrinsically unfair? Because if you're an area in the country that already does well from tourism, if you're a Dingle or a Clifton or a Killarney or a Dublin, you'll just get richer, whereas the areas that don't benefit as much won't get anything.
