Kill, Baby, Kill

Yeah.

So one of my favorite audio commentaries that I've discovered was actually in the Screen Factory Mario Bava collection for Kill Baby Kill.

There's two commentaries on that disc.

One of them is from a guy who has never done an audio commentary before.

But like, I think that gave him the kind of clout to make something that was maybe more from the heart for him.

Yeah, it is interesting that you could put it alongside things like Kill Baby Kill, you know, and there's even shots that kind of echo Kill Baby Kill.

Yeah,

totally.

But it looks like he's clearly got an eye for what he likes because so many of the outside locations look like what that place from Blood and Black Lace looks like still.

the Curse.

It's

Curse of the Living Dead.

And Revenge of the Living Dead.

Check it out.

1968, Kill Baby Kill.

Uh, 1993, 1993, one of your favorites I'm sure, Raven Shadow, Demolition Man.

[laughs] It...

Uh, with a movie I don't remember how it got on my radar, but, uh, Kill, Baby, Kill by Mario Bava.

Hmm.

And so I was watching this, and it's one of his earlier mid-films, 6- 1966, so...

That's, that was the one, I was trying to think of the name of the-

... uh, a lot of people argue Kill, Baby, Kill is Bava's masterpiece.

I, I think it's his, I think it's his best Gothic, um-

Um
