Keel, he took his name off that fucking thing.

Uh, by the way, did you know that, that Keel was a, a politician in the, uh, St. Louis area? It's what they named the Keel Center and the Keel Auditorium and all those Keel things after.

I was not aware of that until I read that somewhere.

Yeah, I didn't know that.

You never think about it.

Well.

You just kind of accept these names, the Keel Auditorium.

Who the fuck is Keel?

I know we touched on this at the end of the last episode, but I wanted to kinda pick up where we left off and a little refresher here.

So with no house shows, with no Kiel Auditorium shows, the TV started building its own stars to kinda keep people coming back.

We've talked about Kay Bell and some of the other talent that were being utilized, maybe not so much at the Kiel, but certainly here on TV beginning at the, at the end of their run when, when Billy Graham, the Reverend Billy Graham, came to town and they were forced to, uh, leave the Kiel early were the St. Louis t- uh, promotions.

I use that i- in a plural.

A loss to Kowalski, but then he comes back with three wins in a row.

Tarzan White, The Great Zora by DQ, and Frank Marconi.

And so they're keeping Roy McClarty strong here for TV, and maybe we'll see him on the, some of the, the Kiel Auditorium shows in the fall as well.

We'll have to wait and see in just a moment.
