KIDO

[keyboard tapping] I point out we're on 580 AM.

You know KIDO.

You know behind the scenes I bet they're trying to get us off that station.

You know it.

It's Hamid Ulukaya.

Okay, we've given you a lot to digest.

We're gonna go to Fox News, 580 KIDO, and then we're going to take your calls.

Kevin Miller, 580 KIDO, why is Alex Jones relevant? I'll explain next.

Blessed to be with you.

580 KIDO and a busy day over the weekend for us, keeping up with the blogs.

Uh, we start with the number one local story.

We had the shooting in downtown Boise over the weekend.

Uh, Boise Police, apparently there were two groups, possibly gang activity.

Now, the Boise Police are on, uh, the scene, if you will, and we'll have more on that.

But at 580-5436-580-KIDO, this is why you have, uh, Glenn in Nampa, gun-toting Glenn.

You have Brian, maybe Al, maybe Tea Party Bob, others who conceal and carry.

We'll put the links in a show notes over in the podcast, Whole Body Detox show, wherever you get your podcasts.

If you're listening on KIDO Talk Radio-

Great

... uh, you'll be able to go over to the podcast and get that, and connect with James and his retreats, and definitely get the book and take a look, and then, uh, tell us what you think.

And for those of you that grew up in the Pacific Northwest, the Northwest, it must have been so...

And again, I'm sorry, I- I'm gonna be a fanboy with you at 580 KIDO.

It must have been so awesome if you watched the Prime game last night, to see the classic colors.

To me, I wish the Broncos would've stayed with those, those colors.

757-4014.

Coming up, we'll get your reaction to that tragedy in Bend, Oregon next.

Kevin Miller, 580 KIDO.

Uh, here we have, uh, a shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon.

A couple more seconds for him, 'cause he's gotta prep, and we, we appreciate his time here.

Uh, 580 KIDO.

Hey, what do you make of, uh, how the media's changed? It seems, and I, I'm gonna be an old fuddy-duddy curmudgeon, that you're young, you're cosmetically appealing, you Google a couple websites, you're an expert, and then you're on the Abby Phillips Thunderdome show.

I don't know if I like that show or hate it.

Our great friend, Jeff Katz.

Thank you very much, sir.

Kevin Miller, 580 KIDO.

Great family man, great dad, great husband, just a great dude, uh, giving us the inside of what's going on on the East Coast, and a little behind the business.

And when you have someone like President Donald Trump behind you, that just makes that your position is going to be elevated even more, especially to the college football fans.

Our great friend Pat Smith joining us from WJOX in Birmingham on KIDO Talk Radio.

So, Pat, you take a look at Coach Saban and so many questions to hit you with, but were you surprised at the end when he had the number one recruiting class, arguably should have beat Michigan, could have rolled on, was unstoppable, and said, I'm out? And John Tulte has covered that.

You've covered it.

And I think their chemistry is undoubtedly very, very good on television.

And I think they have a mutual respect for one another for what they have done.

580-KIDO.

You've seen people come and go.

It's in Star, Idaho.

And you may know about this, but if you don't, if you're a veteran, if you love veterans, we write about this on our website, kidotalkradio.com. And it's a wonderful event, and it's potatoes.

It's called the Potato Feed, the Star Potato Feed.

And Kevin Miller, what's the Star Potato Feed? And basically what it is, is you go to a facility.

Like amazingly large flipping potatoes.

Which is pretty wild.

The pictures on our website don't do it justice.

In fact, if my man Polo is back in there doing some training with Bo, that's his job is to go through and look at those photos of the potatoes, the potato feed.

It is wonderful and exciting as we roll on.

Phone number's here, 580-5436-580-KIDO.

We begin with really what happened over the weekend.

A huge, huge announcement by President Trump.

And so the first question is, "Dan, there's a lot of people that are ma- making a, paying a lot of money donating, and they expect better results." [chuckles] It's just, you never get those questions at Boise State.

Anyway, and obviously because they're winning.

Phone number's here, 580-5436-580-KIDO.

And it's fascinating that, you know, how comfortable are you that people have, you know, th- you have that have grown up in America, and hopefully we still live in America.

Boom, boom, boom.

Al enters the room at 580-KIDO.

Hey, let's try and up our game today with regard to Al from Ontario, you know, because I think that the listening audience would enjoy it much better if you up your game.

But what I want to say, first of all, from yesterday, thank you, Dylan.

No, what he talks about is MAGA, understanding Rome, understanding Greece, understanding the logic of the philosophical aspects.

of Plato, of Aristotle, understanding dialogue.

What happens here on the KIDO show, Kevin, even when you try and stop it from happening, even when your emotionalism creeps in, and you say goofy things like, we need the government to lower gas prices.

You know what that reminds me of? Yesterday you had a couple of good people on, and one of the things they talked about was, should people have AR-15s? OK, and an actual educator came on and said, oh, no, they're just that's just a question.
