Kidnapping of Amber Swartz-Garcia

This may seem entirely far-fetched and too coincidental, but it does indeed happen.

Growing up in the Bay Area in the 1980s, I well remember the case of Amber Schwartz Garcia, a seven-year-old from Pinole, California.

She was jumping rope outside.

A kidnapper, Curtis Dean Anderson, just happened to be driving by, and he grabbed Amber, assaulted her, and murdered her.
