Khonshu

It's very cool.

We get to see Blade in the 1970s with the, this Fist of Khonshu at the time.

She's sick as hell.

She's, she's this cooler, cool Black lady who was the Fist of Khonshu before Marc.

And it, we don't really get to know her too much, but there's this cool, like-

They make a deal

Um, I, I wanna...

We're, we're, we...

... apparently Mark Scepter didn't die.

He just became her AI in her suit, [laughs] and so she still talks to her, and she deals with him and Konshu.

It's a weird thing.

[laughs] But this is just interesting enough that, like, I want three more issues of this.

Uh, the first one will be the Winter Soldier, which is due out next Halloween.

Uh, then the Fist of Khonshu in twenty twenty-eight, which is tied to Moon Knight and things like that.

And then The Last Guardian, featuring Grock, potentially-- or Grock, Groot, it looked like, um, and that is in twenty twenty-nine.

Why we have to wait that long is beyond me.

That will throw Bucky Barnes into the middle of the flesh-eating madness, which already sounds like a brutal fit for the character.

After that, the undead outbreak heads into supernatural territory with Marvel Zombies' The Fist of Khonshu in 2028.

That title immediately raises some fun questions, especially after the last Marvel zombie story introduced Kamala Khan fighting alongside Blade Knight, a version of the vampire hunter who had taken on the mantle of Khonshu's warrior.

Interesting.

I love that first initial showing of Blade Knight during Marvel zombies.

Uh, in October 2027 following Bucky Barnes.

Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Kanosha, Konoshu, uh, focusing on the Moon Knight.

Uh, that's-

Oh, okay

They have confirmed that the new story will explore where Bucky has been during the events since that series.

Then there is Halloween 2028, which is The Fist of Khonshu.

It, in the original series we met Blade Knight, an ultimate version of Blade who had taken the mantle of Moon Knight, complete with Khonshu's powers.

We don't know whether this new special will revisit that particular incarnation or whether it's going to be another avatar of Khonshu or what.

But that was the only version of Khonshu we've seen in Marvel Zombies so far.

And then Halloween 2029 is Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian, which we know very little about, but it, we'll say the logo looks distinctly Guardians of the Galaxy inspired.

So it suggests that it's going to be one of the Guardians in that.
