Now, he brutally raped and strangled his victims in the New Jersey area back in 2016.

Now, Wheeler-Weaver targeted African-American young women who were homeless or had mental health issues.

And he appeared in court in 2022 for the alleged murder of another victim, Ms. Mawa Dambia, whose remains were discovered in 2019.

Well, I hope he got his issue.

According to the Essex County prosecutor's office, it came from an investigation involving extensive digital evidence, the kind of trail that takes years, and a dedicated cold case unit to fully piece together.

On March 31st, 2022, Essex County prosecutors formerly charged Khalil A. Wheeler-Weaver, then 24 years old, of Orange, New Jersey, with her murder.

If that name sounds familiar, it's because Wheeler-Weaver was already a convicted serial killer by the time he was charged in Mawa's case.

Between August and November of 2016, the exact stretch of time Mawa went missing, he used the same method again and again.
