Was it like 2017? Was that the first time or 16? Was that around the first time
11:35
or way earlier? Way earlier.
11:38
So, Just to do a little bit of throwback, this was way before WMBF was mainstream.
11:46
Like in Malaysia, the only real way for you to be a bodybuilder was to go enhanced, which was under, I can't recall what's the federation, but it's kind of like tangentially related to the IFBB, which is where a lot of guys would either go there because there was governmental backings, whether they like to admit it or not.
12:04
Most of these guys are geared up to the guilds.
12:08
Or you can do the muscle mania, which I was also not a fancy of because I kind of knew that these guys were kind of taking gear and I just wasn't ready to take that dive.
12:16
I've considered it, but I didn't.

But on barbell lifts, on dumbbells, things like this, I won't use it as much unless I'm trying to remove the triceps.
56:57
What are some factors that would make you decide not to program lengthened partials for somebody, if there are any?
57:06
So I would typically-- So I have to kind of backtrack a little bit.
57:10
I would actually redefine the way that I define full ROM.
57:13
Um, and that's something that I have to take into consideration because to me, full ROM would be where I can complete a rep at least clearing like arbitrary number, 50 to 60% of the lengthened position.
57:24
At least that's what I would define full ROM as.
57:26
So, so long as you can clear 50, 60% of the range of motion, I would still consider that as a full rep that can be done.
57:33
So that's what my definition of full ROM would be.

And there are also factors that I simply cannot contend with, which is their own gene-- their-- this genetic potential.
