on tv on tv let me make that very clear um anyway oh yes i did want it for me as well but i mean i wanted it for my i wanted it for you does that make sense what's the point of having an award if it doesn't achieve anything i wanted the award so that i could help sell the book and more people could read my words that hopefully gonna really help them Yeah? So I was sad and hurt and disappointed because of what I was making it mean.

If you're making the fact that it's taking a really long time for you to get pregnant mean you might never get to be a parent, that's why it hurts in your body.

when he gets these long speeches oh yeah the brickwork and the blah blah blah and i'm always like oh i really want to do a kevin mcleod on this and everyone's like don't you dare and also the reality of um filming days is that you get like two minutes in a car park at the end of the day to do your amazing sum up speech.

And then they cut it.

Which is right.

Grand Designs has broken up more relationships than any other mod- thing in modern life.

I'm really good, and I thought it would be good just to welcome all our new listeners who are coming in in droves, and welcome to our Big Design Adventure.

It's fabulous to have you along for the ride.

Kevin and I have been friends for, what are we gonna say, a decade?

I think it's a bit longer, but yes, go on.

I don't mind.

And that leads me on to another point that – I wanted to raise and it's about having us as kind of the preeminent professionals having that more public voice and we don't have that currently.

We have, and you guys have recently partnered with Kevin MacLeod and Tim Ross with their podcast.

Their whole content is designed to be delivered along with Kevin and obviously Grand Designs to the general public and they can kind of get that understanding across but But what we don't have is we don't have architects offering professional advice in a wider sector.

If you talk to somebody about health issues, you'll have doctors come and comment on that.
