And I think it was, and we might get into this tomorrow, um, Kevin Kurz had a good piece on The Athletic, like, one question for every team, and this year, or one question for every player on the team, basically.

And it was like, something about Noah Cates, like, if he wants to be, like, a lock the way we look at him right now, he's gotta be a little bit more consistent.

And, like, he had great scoring season last year, but there's also, like, an 18-game goal drought in there.

I, I asked Notey yesterday after practice about Murchison, 'cause I think he's a, he's a fascinating, uh, person, not just for rookie camp, but for main camp as well, because I know the Flyers like him.

Rick Tocchet, he did an interview, uh, last week, I believe, with, uh, with Kevin Kurz, and he specifically mentioned Ty Murchison, like, "I really like him," and that he brought him up unprompted.

So there is a, a feeling in the organization-

Yeah, absolutely.

It roots back to what I was alluding to last week, where, you know, the talks of Michkov and and and obviously the Flyers wanted Kurz to know that, right, that they're talking about Michkov with with Zgris on a line.

It's because what I suspected and what we talked about on the show is like they've seen.

The hardest part was

Over the last few days, I've seen a resurfacing of Dylan Larkin to the Philadelphia Flyers trade discussion, namely that the Flyers aren't on his trade list.

And I was getting some serious deja vu because I was like, "I swear I have heard this before." And so I looked up the source, and it basically comes from Kevin Kurz did a mailbag.

In his mailbag, he talked about a couple of trade possibilities for the Philadelphia Flyers, or was asked about a couple trade possibilities for the Philadelphia Flyers.

I would absolutely pay attention to what's happening with Quinn Hughes, is what one Kevin Kurz of The Athletic said in his mailbag when asked about star players in general, the likes of your McDavid, Matthews, even a Robert Thomas thrown in there.

Quinn Hughes specifically noted in his response, talking about still unsigned, still not extended one Quinn Hughes in Minnesota, might prefer, we know he wants to prefer to continue his career on the East Coast.

If he could have it, New Jersey with Jack and Luke, the Hughes brothers, that would be their collective dream, clearly.

Okay.

In Kevin Kurz's mail bag, uh, part two on The Athletic, check it out over there, he gets a question about adding a superstar, and it's from a reader Dan M., writes, "In the next 12 months, do any of the following find their way to Philly: McDavid, Matthews, Robert Thomas, Dylan Larkin, or Quinn Hughes? How would you rank the likelihood?" And he doesn't dismiss Quinn Hughes.

No, he doesn't.

Which man, I feel like a sucker, but I am daring to dream that we end up with Quinn Hughes at least for, like, three years.

... and Kevin Kurz, who just got, like, lunch with him in Rittenhouse Square earlier this week, is now posting a few days later that, like, "Hey, don't sleep on Quinn Hughes." I do wonder if maybe Rick Tocchet, who is also friends with Quinn Hughes, he's, like, notably Quinn Hughes' favor coach, maybe he's gotten some intel from Quinn Hughes that, like, "Eh, I'd be open to coming to Philly." Maybe.

You never know.

Here's one thing that came out.

Rick Talkett coming out and essentially trying to do a little bit of a mea culpa reversal on this whole Matvei Mishkov thing, as, again, there was that little bit of, you know, who leaked it to Paul Bissonnette? Well, it's hard not to look at Rick Talkett and say...

that Matvey Mishkov was out to lunch multiple times last offseason and did not come into training camp in the best of shape.
