And I know Kevin Greutert said the original intention was for this trap to take place earlier and like John was going to be in the crowd.

And I'm very glad that they didn't do that because that would have pissed me off even more.

I'm like, I don't think John would be co-signing this.

And it is, yeah, I mean, that's not really an exaggeration.

So Kevin Greutert, who might also be Grutert, and I think it's Greutert, but if I'm getting it wrong, Kevin, I apologize.

who is the editor of the first five Saw movies, did, at least in my opinion, a halfway decent job on Saw VI.

I'm sorry to say, on why they fired him.

But when they did, they enforced a clause in Kevin Greutert's contract... that required him to return and direct this movie which they um unceremoniously forced him to do knowing full well that he had to give up paranormal activity too that sucks uh and they did it anyways which that's the thing to me where i'm like if the guy is like i don't want to do this Don't give him $15 million to do it.

All right, anyways, so, um, Saw VI, 2009.

Um, this is the directorial debut, uh, of a gentleman who I have mentioned in passing before, Kevin Greutert.

Greutert.

Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

But through the commentary and through a lot of interviews, they had talked about how behind the scenes it's either the same names holding onto their roles throughout almost the entirety of the franchise, like Charlie Clouser as the composer, the fantastic work that he does, Kevin Greutert as the editor, the fantastic work that he does.

But it's also people moving up to different responsibilities that started at other positions.

Yeah.

And they even mentioned on the commentary that each trap is like a mini movie in itself because it's each telling its own story that has this definitive beginning, middle, and end.

Right.

And I think that's very interesting, and I think Kevin Greutert does a great job with all of these films.
