And actually, years ago, when Kevin DeLeon was first running for the assembly, Gabrielle was running against him, and we supported Gabrielle.

But Gabrielle didn't have the unions behind him, so he didn't finish.

And he would have been a far better representative than Kevin.

If you cannot manage the work of your committee, how on earth are you going to manage the second largest city in the country?

L.A. Mayor Karen Bass attacking mayoral candidate and city council member Nithya Raman during a debate last week.

She's talking about the council's housing and homelessness committee.

Raman's colleagues ousted her as the committee's chair this summer.

There had been sort of, you know, behind the scenes grumbling about it for some time.

But I think the fact that she sort of really ruptured the way things are done in City Hall sort of brought a lot of this to the surface.

And we spoke to one former city council member, Mike Bonin, who said that he saw this sort of pile on as kind of unprecedented events.

When it comes to City Hall, you know, the personalities are always going to chafe against each other.

Hugo Soto Martinez takes out Mitchell Farrell because he had the gall to to clear out Echo Park and all the homeless that were in there.

Isabel Jurado in 2024 knocks out Kevin DeLeon, the former state Senate pro tem and a Senate candidate because he didn't deliver when he was a member of the city council.

It is hot as hell.

So there definitely is a movement here, and the movement has moved to the mayor's office because Karen Bass has not delivered on any of the things that she promised that she would do as mayor.

"He thinks he's effing Black." She said he carries around his child like he is, quote, "an accessory," close quote.

Another person there, Councilman Kevin de León, said this gay councilman treats his child, quote, "like a Louis Vuitton bag," close quote.

And Martinez described the boy as, quote, "like a little monkey," close quote.

As for the gay councilman, whose name is Mike Bonin, Martinez described him as a, quote, "little B word that rhymes with witch." De León also took a swipe at Orange County and the LA Times, saying that we Latinos need not fear, quote, "those crazies in Orange County who are pro-Trump.
