Kevin Crossley-Holland

Okay, onto our next question.

This is from a listener, Johnny Green Teeth, and Johnny writes, "Who is your favorite writer for retelling of folktales? I love the writings of Kevin Crossley-Holland for this." I'm ashamed to say I've never read Kevin Crossley-Holland.

I haven't read retellings of folktales since I was a child.

I liked the Lang books as a child, all the, the colored fairy books, but I don't know how they would stand up if I reread them.
