Yes.
14:51
Part of it could be that she's reached out and asked somebody for help.
14:56
That might produce some anticipated future problems.
14:59
So all of that, and when we think of mistreatment.
15:03
Another question I'd like to ask is, "So now that we're learning the situation, how do you respond to it?" So if this is the, I like to use the illustration of the heat, right? If so, if your heat, and we'll call that the situation, that is putting pressure on the ground, and under the ground is roots.
15:24
And so those roots we know in the Bible, it says, "From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." So the fruit on the tree under certain heat, you look at this fruit and you say, "What kind of fruit do we have?" And so I'm gonna start asking fruit questions.
15:39
So how are you responding, right? I'm not gonna call it heat.
19:09
Yeah.
18:06
How can you communicate us not missing that larger story of redemption?
18:13
I think what Dr. Baker has helped us do in this series is to make sure that we don't focus on behavior, but instead we're focusing on the heart, the problem at the heart where we're being rebellious from a king that's a good king to And then ultimately what we need to do about that and how it ties back into the issue that they're having, the issue they're struggling with.
18:36
So I think the resource itself is helpful that it's not pushing for behavior change, right? I think if you were to boil every one that I've read down at the end of it, essentially it's, so are you going to follow Jesus, right? Are you willing to do this in the John four, right? It's, We tied it back to, so are you willing to take a drink? Jesus says, here's, I'm offering you water and you'll never thirst again.
19:03
So are you willing to drink? And, and in this Mark four text, it's, are you willing to follow Jesus? Who is the one who can calm the storm and is the one who does do everything that's necessary.
19:17
Face the pressures.
19:18
He did all the things that were required to do to live daily for God's glory and And he did it perfectly.
19:25
And so if you're going to have peace in your life, it starts with peace in your heart.
20:34
Sure.
