Ketton

And then Bowles...

Ketton Bowls Club have taken the decision to disband after more than 50 years in operation.

The club, which have teams in the Stamford and Peterborough Leagues, as well as being affiliated to the North Hants Bowling Federation, have been unable to create new administrators following the resignation of key officers.

Ketton has been a thriving club for 52 years, but a decline in membership means that it is not possible to continue, said Secretary Carol Waters.

The club staged the county finals in 2015 and the semi-finals prior to that, as well as hosting North Ants inter-county matches.

The Northants Bowling Federation held their annual men's and women's presentation luncheon at the Ellingdon Banqueting Suite in Breton.
