Town of Kersey Ballot Issue 2B in Weld County asks without increasing the tax rate whether taxes scheduled to expire should be extended for a limited 10-year period 2028 through 2037 for its 17.205 mil property tax.

The question also makes the extension a voter-approved revenue change within the meaning of Article 10, Section 20.

Weld County's notice estimates the extension at $517,698 a year and states that the measure does not propose an increase in the 17.205 mill tax rate.
