Authorities raid a large-scale methamphetamine lab in Lancaster, California, seizing over 1,000 pounds of meth.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office says deputies found the lab last week while serving a search warrant.

Deputies allegedly dismantled the lab and seized 248 pounds of crystallized meth, over 1,500 pounds of meth in liquid form, and several thousand dollars in cash.

Three suspects, all from Mexico, were arrested.

Unfortunately, the circumstances surrounding the teen's death remain unclear.

At a July 28th, 2026 news conference, Kern County Sheriff's Homicide Detective Ashley Thompson said that authorities have a list of potential suspects, but did not elaborate further.

"Identifying Michelle is an important step, but the circumstances surrounding her death remain unknown," Thompson said.

Collier's older sister, Cynthia Dunbar, and other family members attended the press conference as authorities announced their findings.

"She disappeared 48 years ago, and it was only recently that we knew where she was," Dunbar said.

"At least with this information, my family has some closure.

We are forever grateful to the Kern County Sheriff's Department, the coroner's office, and all else who worked to bring our sister home." Dunbar said the shock of discovering that Collier was a homicide victim was overwhelming for her entire family, especially for their 85-year-old mother, Maria.

"To the person who killed our sister, your cowardly act affected our entire family.

On December 21st, 2017, Kern County Sheriff deputies responded to a wellness check just outside Tehachapi, California.

The call came from the mother of a minor child who stated that the child's uncle had lured them out there to attack without provocation.

The man attacked and gave chase, going so far as to pursue their car on foot as she drove away.

The chaplain asked if Catalin was hoping for an exorcism.

This question incited a hysterical outburst from Catalin, who repeatedly screamed, "No exorcism.

It has to stay inside." Due to prior experience with another agency inmate, a representative from the Kern County Sheriff's Office facilitated contact between Catalin and an agency representative.

After a brief interview, the agency brought Catalin into custody, where he remains.

At this time, Catalin is the only confirmed case of demonic possession incarcerated at the Agency of Helping Hands.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office just rescued, uh, an injured motorcyclist.

Details on the rescue are sparse.

We know it was in a remote location of the county, and you can see that helicopter hoist the victim out of the area.
