In other words, he was actually a fount of inspiration and learning, but Israel Ugadi separated from him you know um people who separated from him because uh he was dangerous i think in the sense that you could go crazy yeah being too much contact with that man okay and um uh now what about um i'll just say some more things about um when i was seeing uh uh joel york One of the other people was Kenneth Anger, the American filmmaker.

And he and the Rolling Stones also came to visit Gerald York around that time because they were interested in Philema.

And he had some lovely stories like Kenneth Anger, when he came to stay, wanted to cut a magic wand.

And there was this magnificent tree, I think it probably was a yew tree, I'm not sure, on Gerald York's lawn.

And he said, so I want to cut a stick to make a wand.

Gerald said, well, if you're going to do it in my place, you do it properly.

So it should be naked at dawn with a single stroke of a sword.

I would totally agree.

But I mean, we don't have to just talk about it, but if we're talking about his filmmaking and in, you know, there's a distinction there because you could say Kenneth Anger and then you get into filmmaking.

How far do we want to go into that?

So that's called Prophet of Evil, Aleister Crowley.

And then I also have the other DVD, which is basically Nicole Hollywood, which goes through a follower of Crowley by the name of Kenneth Anger.

It details some of his recent talks about Crowley, and there's a direct relationship between Aleister Crowley to Gerald York, who is one of Crowley's followers,

who is

also a friend of Kenneth Anger.

So these people all have actually a personal connection, not just ideological, but these people all are familiar with each other.

Yeah, Kenneth Anger, I haven't watched any of his films, but I heard they're pretty disturbing.

Is there a coherent plot in this film, or is it an amalgamation of images that are supposed to be sort of filled in to the right person who's initiated it? Where's the missing context for you? Do you feel like there is any?

I think the missing context is the LSD that you have to take and the Kenneth Anger style psychosis that you have to identify with.

And once you get both of those, you can understand this a little bit more.
