Kenner

So Jennifer Schultz, the previous life, okay, was born on June 26, 1971 at American Air Force Base in West Germany, to which her father was assigned while in the military.

Upon discharge, he moved his young family to Kenner, Louisiana, shout out, a suburb of New Orleans, and the location of the city's airport.

Oh, that's right.

It is in Kenner.

So...

At 11 years old, Jennifer was taking catechism classes at her family's Catholic church.

Yeah.

So two days after this, during her lunch hour at work, Cindy searched online for plane crashes in 1971 in Canada and finally in Louisiana.

They start practice on Tuesday.

And, of course, the squadron as well getting ready to get started out in Lake Town, out in Kenner.

They've renovated the part of the Pontchartrain Center to get ready for the – for the Lake Town Squadron, and they'll be having their games here this year instead of in Birmingham, which I think is not a bad deal, okay? But again, I've said it before in this program, and I'm not trying to knock the Pels or the Lake Town Squadron.

I mean, you can get Pelicans tickets for five bucks, again, on the secondary market some nights.

And as it developed, you know, the girl had also mentioned the name Jennifer.

And as it developed, as the, the mother discovered, there had been a plane crash in, uh, Kenner, not Canada, Kenner, Louisiana in, uh, 1982, not 1971, 1982, um, that had, um, uh, at the time it had been the third worst aviation disaster in, in US history.

Now it's, uh, I think it's still in the top 10, but it's not, uh, you know, not top three anymore.

But anyway, every, a 185 people on the plane died and eight people on the ground, among them a girl named Jennifer.

And with those clues, uh, the mother was actually able to, uh, well, now she, now basically she, she, she had identified the girl.

Um, and I, so I interviewed, uh, the family.

I also then went to, uh, uh, to Kenner myself to interview people there.

I found, um, uh, several of, uh, Jennifer's, uh, friends, now 47 years old, uh, who, classmates, you know, uh, and talked with them.

Outbound Crescent City Connection downtown, uh, it's, uh, between, uh, US 90, I-10, and Tchoupitoulas we're seeing the slower traffic.

Stop-and-go westbound I-10, uh, Superdome to Kenner, 16 minutes.

It's I-10 to Erhard Boulevard where we're seeing the slowest traffic right now.

About an eight-minute delay.

Westbound I-10 Esplanade to the Claiborne Flyover is, uh, running with a three-minute delay, Superdome to Kenner for a 17-minute ride.

Uh, LA 18 Barataria to the East Bank of the Huey, it's, uh, looking pretty good right now.

Just imagine the amount of people in the city for the event.

Well, Aiden was staying about 15 minutes outside of the French Quarter in Kenner at a Comfort Suites Inn.

And with his prep for the Super Bowl complete, Aiden began enjoying the city, hitting a few nighttime hot spots with some of his co-workers.

Now, the group bar hopped along Bourbon Street and Aiden had some drinks.

The broadcast agency warmly remembered Aiden.

There just wasn't an explanation for his death.

Now, during those early hours, Kenner detectives processed the hotel room and realized several things were missing, like the credit card he had booked the hotel with and his cell phone was gone.

Of course, they pulled the surveillance video, and that's when they saw Danette.

Whitney to Earhart is where we're seeing the stop-and-go.

24 minutes eastbound I-10, Kenner to the Superdome, a 9-minute delay.

Stop-and-go flow eastbound I-10, Loyola Drive to Power Boulevard.

That slowing is definitely affecting you along Kenner to the Superdome area right now.

Also seeing it slow eastbound I-10, 6-10 to Downman.

Elysian fields to the high-rise, a couple of extra minutes.

Crescent City Connection, inbound Lafayette to Carrollton, 18 minutes, about a nine-minute delay.

Terry Parkway to Earhart Boulevard is running a little slow, 29 minutes.

So Homeland Security...

On August 27th, ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom, at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, Louisiana.

Yiannopoulos legally entered the country May 14, 2019, through New York City, New York.

He chose to, and it goes on to say, overstay his welcome.

Eastbound on 610 from Metairie to the I-10 merge, it's a nine-minute ride, about four minutes of delays.

And westbound on I-10 from the Superdome to Kenner, it's a 19-minute ride, about five minutes of delays.

Causeway to Veterans Boulevard is where we're seeing the slowing.

And we are looking at eastbound I-10 flyover, the high-rise headed outbound.

An accident, that accident at Orleans is keeping it slow with 10 minutes between the flyover and the high-rise.

30 minutes westbound I-10 Superdome to Kenner.

About a 16-minute delay, slowest between Causeway and Veterans Boulevard.

So slow traffic on the inbound side.

Also eastbound I-10, Kenner to the Superdome, 29 minutes, a 15-minute delay.

Had an accident at 610 West at St. Bernard.

They've cleared it off, but still a little heavier traffic from Paris right now.

13 minutes outbound on the Crescent City Connection, Superdome to Terry Parkway.

20-minute ride westbound I-10, Superdome to Kenner.
