Kennedale

And we now have one phone line open, 800-288-9227, if you want to share your early voting experience with your fellow Texans.

This is Randall in Kennedale.

You're on Newstalk 820-933-FMWBAP.

What did you see early voting, Randall?

Compared to the presidential election, it was probably three times as many people.

Shut up.

But we're in Kennedale.

They're so...

Fifth.

Kennedale, sixth.

Aubrey, seventh.

Benbrook, eighth.

Great memories I have, being in his little Bronco II, throwing our clubs in the back, going to hit balls.

And then my girlfriend, who's my wife now, but my girlfriend, she lived in Kennedale, and there was a little, uh, driving range right around the corner from her house.

So I'd go over there and hit balls too, and-

Perfect

I figured I'd tell you guys about them.

And the first one I went to yesterday was Goldie's Barbecue in this weird Fort Worth, Kennedale, Everman...

Bermuda Triangle, I think physically it's in Fort Worth, though it'd be a little strange because it's east of Everman and Kennedale.

Anyway, Goldie's was recently, maybe five years ago, voted as the Texas Monthly number one barbecue joint in Texas, and that's a huge deal.

Um, I got there a little bit after noon.

Most customers will see the new changes on bills received in November.

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center has donated 25 Stop The Bleed kits to the Kennedale Police Department.

The hospital presented the kits at the September 15th Kennedale City Council meeting.

The kits contain tourniquets, gauze, dressings, trauma shears, bandages, and markers.

They give officers supplies to help control severe bleeding at an emergency scene before paramedics arrive.

That's right.

Yeah, they have Kennedale on Wednesday.

That would have been a good hipster

game.

Uh, he went on to, to manage at, uh, I think it was North Star Dragway in Denton and, and, uh, Thunder Valley Raceway Park in, in Noble, Oklahoma.

Um, but I'll best remember him, and I think, uh, Larry will be best remembered for his time, uh, at Texas Raceway in Kennedale, Texas.

So, and, and when Larry was there, like, I didn't know any different growing up.

Like, I, I grew up li- very figuratively and literally at Texas Raceway.
