If you look at my first three years, I hit 264.

I hit 300 my second year, hit 327, and a lot of credit was him.

And the reason why is I could watch a guy who grew up in his house, taught me everything I know about the game, and I watched him set up pitchers.

Yeah.

You know, you have a opportunity to see eight guys, you know, in front of you to, to hit.

So every eight, you know, eight guys, you got a chance to, "This is what he throws, this is what he got, blah, blah, blah.

His curve ball ain't breaking as much, his, ain't doing this, ain't doing that.

So then what happened next as it unfolded? As your life unfolded?

Once I graduated, I was pretty much in the mindset of, okay, I've been here long enough.

And I was there for about six months.

And I was like, okay, I just feel like I need to go back to where I feel home is.

And so I moved back to, uh, pretty much my hometown, Rockford, Illinois, even though I was raised in Chicago, I was pretty much raised, I mean, uh, raised in Rockford.

And so, uh, I moved back to here and I was pretty much, I was doing good for the, uh, for the first three years.

When I was here, I was just building up and things like that, uh, not being taught that much growing up to like be a man or things like that.

You made it, you seemed like you, from that, you grew in such a way, you said you got more God conscious, you got, and I believe you probably started writing as a result of all going through this, right?
