It's City drawing first blood in the second half.

Hoffa Navarro draws a penalty in the 57th minute or so it makes it four to one city but it didn't take long about nine minutes later Minnesota gets a penalty of their own as a Roseco makes a tackle of Kelvin Yeboah in the box there's contact easy call there I don't have any qualms with the official on that call And then he converts to make it four to two.

But Chris, you know, for as good as City was in that first 45, what did you notice or did you notice anything that really explains why the second half was what a lot of the players described as just not good enough?

Part of me wants to chalk that up to the fact that we were rotated, you know, and so you didn't have your entire complement of what you would consider your best 11 out there.

Kelvin Yeboah scored his 13th goal of the MLS regular season at St. Louis, giving him 35 goals across all competitions with Minnesota.

Those 35 goals bring Kelvin into a two-way tie for second place with what player? Ooh.

Second half, I'll go through it quickly because we do have a US Open Cup to preview.

The second half, uh, was a, a really fast-moving opener from the first part of the second half to 61 minutes when Kelvin Yeboah scores that PK.

It was, it was nonstop, I felt.

Roman Berkey had a diving f- uh, dive, diving save at 54.

At 60 minutes, then, Jose Larosco commits a penalty in the box.

This was a fairly no-brainer penalty as well, just like that first one to me.

Jose had shoulder to shoulder, and then Kelvin Yeboah ends up getting the advantage.

He gets the inside position, advantage on the ball, and once you have shoulder to shoulder, that advantage happens.

They do.

Yeah, Kelvin Yeboah is the striker for Minnesota.

He's got 12 goals in the season, two assists, leads the team in that.

He started 20 of 23 games played.

I saw launches of 47.8 per game for this team.

High crossing volume.

They're looking for Kelvin Yeboah to get on the end of things.

He's a very athletic type of forward.

So good work there from that group.

And then the substitute group is the one who comes in and wins in the game after they concede to Kelvin Yeboah.

Sam Sarver, Santi Moreno, some special contributions for them off the bench.

Another team effort, maybe more so than we see often with this team because it is so reliant on Petr Musa.

There was just nothing he was going to do about that after it rattles the post.

He's already laid out.

It just falls very charitably to Kelvin Yeboah.

But he didn't have, like, with only two shots on target, you don't have much to do.

winger who just stole the ball off of Kamal Miller.

Really almost blocks Kelvin Yeboah's cross back across goal to Mark Hanich.

Mark Hanich hits a little bit of a laser beam and then called there and Kamal Miller fight over who's going to get the ball and the goal, which was hilarious.

Uh, he's done a nice job of, of creating with Joaquin Pereira.

Uh, Kelvin Yeboah is scoring again.

Uh, you know, uh, Gonzalez is a guy that's come off the bench, and he's, uh, contributed goals as well.

Uh, so it's gonna be difficult for Maurice Malone to find a way into this team given those three guys that are ahead of him.

And then there's Momo Jang, who wasn't training with the first team earlier this week.

And, uh, they were kind of talking about, you know, what is the next step for him? Uh, you know, does he go out on loan? Does he maybe, uh, become a guy that is, is moved on from? Um, but yeah, there's just been kind of a topsy-turvy, uh, depth chart at that position.

And I think right now it's, it's clearly Kelvin Yeboah and Marcus Caldera and, and Mauricio Gonzalez behind him.

And then, uh, you know, Maurice Malone trying to find if he's got a spot after that.
