There's so much experience, and, you know, Kelsey and, and a bit like Kel, they just don't seem to be getting any older.

... uh, Kelsey Griffin, that's, that's a veteran group with a smart coach.

Maybe I'm too close to playing or I'm not sure, but I found it really, really challenging, and I just wanna also put it on the record that I already had a huge respect for coaches, and that's why I never, ever wanted to do it.

[laughs] Well, well Kelsey Griffin calls us sickos, calls us coaches sickos, so it probably goes in that sort of realm, doesn't it?

[laughs] Well, Tess, it's been awesome having you on to talk all things women's basketball, especially before another massive season of the WNBL, probably the biggest season we've had yet, the second season under the new ownership, as we spoke about.

for sure you touched on obviously lara edmondson's just come back from college um what's she going to bring to the group just energy um

like she's she's attentive she looks you in the eye um yep I'll do that and then we'll talk about like just different screen angles or how to pop and she wants to know the detail and um with Matt Gambier this year um with Kelsey getting injured she had to play sort of out of position but I feel like she can be a legitimate sort of four even three in the WNBL and um yeah just a her enthusiasm to improve is great.

That's like a coach's dream.

You're one of those people who are sponges, right? You're just willing to learn every time they step on the court.

I was going to say, it's a pretty good backcourt.

Yeah.

Kelsey Griffin's there as well.
