Yes, it's the most wonderful week of the year.

After a long absence for our favorite little guy, he is back with a daily series by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiro, Monday through Friday, in which, during a battle, Jeff and Ken come across a weird little toy-looking gun.

They don't know where it came from, but it has all sorts of settings, and on one of them, it's labeled Jeff World.

A lot of the edgy, you know, powerful characters.

And even though I know you didn't love the Kelly Thompson book, and what did we talk about last time? We had problems with, but the last, I think we liked, you liked, what's it called? The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, but it just was kind of unpleasant.

This is worse than both of those books.

But that's the thing is, there's plenty of jokes in this that do work.

But because there's no weight to them, it...

It doesn't connect to anything like this does not feel like you need to read like with the Kelly Thompson run where it's sometimes a little too jokey.

But it does feel like this is us trying out.

Mr. Fillon yeah it makes me think that it's not going to be Stephanie Williams because she's got that Vixen book she's got a bunch of stuff in the fire

Uh, right now, Kelly Thompson at number eight down this month, uh, absolute, uh, wonder woman.

Uh, I think that's egregious.

I think that is, uh, I think this is, this should be considered a misprint.

How did DC break this cycle of being the perpetual number two? And probably the number one factor in all this is the establishment of the absolute universe and the absolute imprint.

Spearheaded by Scott Snyder, followed in by Jason Aaron on Absolute Superman and Kelly Thompson on Absolute Wonder Woman.

What did they do? They said, we're going to create this mechanism that essentially establishes a parallel universe.

We're going to invest in these characters.

Yeah.

And I do think that, you know, in Kelly's book, which we read last week, that book is say everything we will about how it's slow to get going.

Elsa has a lot to do.

We've sort of talked, you don't know that character Hitman, but he is a grimy sort of scuzzy character and Superman likes him and wants to help him sometimes.

Captain America, like, and he was in the Kelly Thompson book as well, and he throws him back to, like, he kicks him out of Monster Island.

There is this event book that's going to, that maybe goes through this, in fact, called Secret Empire, where Captain America turns out to be a HYDRA agent.
