Kelly Tarlton's Sea Life Aquarium

Wow, where did you get him?

Kelly Tarlton's.

If he could talk, what would he say to you?

He would actually, actually say...

You know, we're, uh-

That's why you always go to Kelly Tarltons, eh? I see what you're doing.

They don't have dolphins there.

Oh.

One thing you might not know about Kelly Tarlton's is that it's not just an aquarium, it's also a turtle hospital.

When these turtles are found sick or injured, they are brought in, patched up, and given a second chance.

Reporter Kieren Morris is in the turtle tank now, helping feed a few of the patients.

[laughs] We'll keep talking about these turtles, though.

[laughs]

Thank you, uh, reporter Kieren Morris, uh, with Reuben Fleetwood from Kelly Tarlton's.

Uh, starting to look a bit cold there.

Beautiful turtles, though.

For the Italian rivers.

Uh, so in 2019 it was buzzing around, uh, Auckland being chased by the Kelly Tarlton's, um, shark.

Well, RIP, miss that.

Then it just disapp- well, no, it's still around.

Is it?

The Kelly Tarlton's shark?

The Kelly Tarlton's is still around?

No, they don't own it.
