Yeah, I think the first Practical Magic is a very cozy, warm, nostalgic watch for a lot of people.

Like the sexuality and the kink are actually completely separated from each other.

But both E.L. James and the second and third films co-writers and directors have no ability to introspect on that when On the other hand, Sam Taylor-Johnson and Kelly Marcel are actually able to push in on it.

Which is why the first film is interesting.
