Kelly Gago

Obviously not in Forest.

Haven't really hit the ground running, but... she has the joint most bonus points of any player in the game alongside bunny shaw that's both defensive and offensive contributions so she's picking up an average of three bonus points a game which is fantastic numbers really um and she scored in the opening game so she's got potential going backwards and forwards and then up front i've gone with a bit of a Yeah, I've gone with a bit of a budget-friendly option in Kelly Gago because 5.5 million, West Ham up against her former club, Everton.

There is no way she doesn't score.

It's just, it's already happened, but it's already been written that she's going to find the back of the net in this game.

And when I saw this game, I thought, oh, finally, this is what they've been trying to do.

And everyone knows how much I love Kelly Gago, obviously gutted to see her go and to a team like West Ham, who will probably be competing against us.

But she is exactly what they need for that type of game plan, because you saw it for that first goal.

One ball through the middle and that's all she needs.

You can talk about London City liners as maybe being a bit naive to that and having a line so high when you're playing against someone like Kelly Gago.

Just brilliant from her.

And I think when you look at someone like Aseye as well, who that chance that she took, she had so many chances like that last season and just wasn't quite finishing them off in the way that she had been in previous seasons.

It's neutral.

You predicted, uh, that Kelly Gaga was gonna be a handful.

Obviously we've als- always said Viviane Assey, one of my favorite players in the WSL, both got on the score sheet.

Um, you felt that she, that Gaga had underperformed at Everton because she wasn't that settled there, but this felt like, again, almost like a Chelsea-esque cobwebs dusted, gone.

Um, and she was absolutely on fire.

Yeah.

I think, you know, I've talked about it before, you know, happy players generally play better, and Kelly started great at Everton and then became less happy at Everton, and didn't play as much, and didn't play as well.

Um, but I think, you know, linking, linking up with fellow French, uh, international Viviane Assey probably helps.

Yeah, like for me, when I was watching this game on Saturday afternoon, which it was, West Ham were having so much joy on the left-hand side.

Vivian Assayi, Inez Belumu, Kelly Gago, like they were absolutely terrorising Yanni Thompson and Issa Cardinal just for the fun of it.

Like you just see balls being played over to that left-hand side and West Ham players just having free reign and just using their pace and skill just to get in the back line of London City and causing them problems left right and centre I mean the two goals that they scored were practically carbon copy of each other
