Kellie Harper

They'll have an exhibition before that, uh, the week before.

And it is year two under Head Coach Kellie Harper, and she is joining us now on the KTGR hotline to talk about the start of the season.

And, Coach, just to kinda reflect on what has now been a full cycle for you here in Columbia, seeing how all of that went through for you and your group, now getting set to start a new campaign, what's the main thing you took away from it as, again, you had that 12-month period and you're trying to start a new one here?

Yeah, well, I think I, I've always felt like it takes a, an entire calendar year to get 100% comfortable with your university athletic department, how things are done, um, with your team, just the structure, just everything.

And so I think that was the first thing.

Um, and then how we're going to, as a staff, handle that, um, what it's gonna look like, what the expectations are, and, uh, I think we, we were able to, um, you know, learn a lot from that, uh, that time.

Kellie Harper, Mizzou women's basketball coach here on The Big Show, KTGR and the KTGR app.

In the off-season, uh, or, or really before then, when you're signing your high school class around, uh, almost around this time, uh, this past year, uh, th- five new freshmen that's, uh, you know, it- as you mentioned at, at Media Day not too long ago, they'll, uh, be expected to try and carve out a role very soon.

Thanks for joining us.

We had Kellie Harper on with us, uh, last hour.
