off with a bang.

um one of the other guys here in the building because i used to work here and i know all the people here all the on-air staff and one of the on-air staff called me and said hey we were in a meeting andy wants to retire do you want to come and take over for him and i said absolutely not Wow.

Absolutely not.

And KDXU, no chance.

Zero chance not doing it.

I'm so glad to be on KDXU, which is actually the oldest radio station in Washington County.

It's the

OG, as they say.

Yeah.

And, you know, one of its early studios was right behind Dick's Cafe, if anybody remembers that, back in 1960.

So, yeah, it's a huge honor to be here on 106.1 and 890A on KDXU.

Well, the Higher Education for Incarcerated Youth Program was born during COVID when a lot of people like me, I think, were kind of just sitting and contemplating life.

They're in cars traveling to Oceanside, California for the UEA holiday and weekend and extra days also.

But right now, they're passing through St. George, listening to the travel show on station KDXU.
