Kay Yow

Um, he's just one of the most, uh, uh, amazing human beings I've ever met.

You know, I've met, uh, Doug Campbell here 10 years now, uh, and he told me he had a vision for our, our company and, and what he wanted to do for coaches, players, trainers, uh, and parents, and I truly believed in that.

Uh, and he's put his money where his mouth is, uh, in developing the equipment that we have.

But more than anything, he's a person that just truly cares.

Yeah, no, I, I'm glad that you asked that.

So we recently, about a month ago now, launched our newest product, which is the Arc 1 shooting machine with vision tech.

And so what we did is, once again, we went out to the coaches, the players and trainers and said, "You know, what can we do or add to this machine that's going to help you become a better shooter?" Uh, and we had tons of feedback of, "Hey, can I get some real time feedback while I'm shooting, uh, you know, with my shot form or my arc?" And so we landed on arc degree and developed our vision tech, uh, technology, which, uh, we finalized here about a month ago.

And so what players are now able to do is get out on the machine, shoot a jump shot.

You have to get to know them on a personal level because they...

I think it was Kay Yow that said, "They don't care what you know until they know that you care." And that is so true.

You have to have that basis of trust.

'Cause you can't be honest with someone if they don't trust you, and when you're honest with someone, you can tell them, "Hey, you didn't do your job here.

You have, you have to know your team and know what they need.

Mm-hmm.

And you mentioned Kay Yow.

Rest in peace, Kay Yow.

I didn't have one because that goal was so big and always feels so far away because, you know, you think about that, that job and, you know, I said this in my press conference, like, I listed the names of all the previous coaches at my press conference when I got the job, and you hear those names and you think, "Gosh, are you kidding me?" Like, Billy Moore, Sue Gunter, Pat Summitt, Kay Yow, Teresa Grent, Tara VanDerveer, you know, Nell Fortner, Van Chancellor, Ann Donovan, Jean Auriemma, Dawn Staley, Cheryl Reeve.

Not bad.
