into this conflict by the book of Oa, which is some, somehow supposedly not really alive, but yet it's sentient, which kind of seems contradictory because John guy is supposed to be the first person to fully understand the book of Oa, which is why it talks to him.

But we cut back to the least interesting part of the book, the Zilla box stuff, the living city where you, we have Simon and Kelly and Ellie and John trying to, uh, find Katma and, uh, Joe, I'm trying to bust them out by by conversation and being somewhat clever.

Kelly's able to help give give them a clue or find the clue of where the where the Dark Stars usually hang out, which thus means where the any prisoners of the Dark Stars would be.

Ellie, who I guess now wants to be called Elle, because somehow the people who really understand her, which I guess are Simon and Kelly now that they call her Elle.

I don't quite understand that necessarily.

But she flies off after she finds Joe.

She's looking for Katma.

They find Katma's being she's being investigated, not interrogated, but more being investigated because her exosuit is just different than everybody else's.

The other story is the Dark Stars plot where...

Katma and Joe got taken to the Dark Stars realm and it pops in on Simon and Kelly, Kid Lantern, looking, you know, through this this big city for where Katma and Joe could be.

So they end up bamboozling this guy that is selling food like in a food stall on the street, which is all funny because it shows that Kelly is can be devious if necessary.

Right.

And so they have a bead on on where they're keeping Joe and Katniss.

And so she becomes this like bug and starts floating through the city, essentially drawn to Joe gets up into this tower where they're they're keeping.

and ends up getting to the dark stars and getting them to disarm by taking on this form of this big like werewolf creature, getting them to disarm the field that's around Katma because they're still curious.

They're confused on.

So there's a lot going on here.

Um, it, it, it balances between the setup of rescuing, um, Katma.

Sure.

Yeah.

Right? Kat- Katma is-

Yeah, Katma turned into-

I still, I posited at one point that Zoe was kind of catma before we realized she was a Manhunter.

That would be an interesting show is if they reverse the dynamic because Katma trained Jon.

And they're like, you have to train Katma.

And they send Katma to Earth.

A different actress or maybe even the same actress somehow.

But

who sends Katma to Earth? Is it the Guardians who catch wind of this? Is Katma sent to keep an eye on Jon? Yeah.

because they don't they don't know what John's up to they want somebody there and so it could be another butting head situation where she's basically like you've seen it in James Bond before where someone sends an analyst to hang out with James Bond and they're like kind of stuck up and John is now his own man and doesn't want to play by the rules and doesn't he doesn't want to deal with anybody else's BS and And so like having kind of a sort of a straight laced Green Lantern to hang out with them might be kind of fun.

Yeah.

But I mean, you know what'd be a fun way to explore some of these other corps? Have, like, a bunch of the corps, like, fighting over, "Oh, we want Katma Tui for our corps."

Yeah, or something like...

Yeah, I mean, 'cause-

And she, you know, and have her be all like, "Well, I'm not the original Katma Tui." And they're like, "No, but the potential to be that Katma Tui is in you."

We know what she was.

Yeah.

Oh, this one is brilliant.

A lantern named Katma Tui is sent to a region of space called the Obsidian Deeps to recruit a new member.

The catch? The Obsidian Deeps is a galaxy that has absolutely no light.

None at all.

Moore asks a vital, devastating question.

How do you police a sector of space where the species evolved without eyes? Where the concept of light doesn't even exist in their language or their biology

So what does Katma Tui do?

If she hands this blind alien a glowing ring, it means absolutely nothing to him.
