What did you say to those players when you stepped into that role, even though it was for a short period of time?

I think when I reflect back on that time and why we had success, particularly in those first two games, we won the first two games that I was brought in for.

And, you know, I jumped at that opportunity when I was asked if I was available for it.

Where do you need me? You know, Firebirds is a club that I've had a large association with and a deep passion for for a really long period of time.

Katie, what is the NextGen Summit and what are some of the fun things that you have lined up for our young farmers?

Yeah, so as the name implies, it's geared towards the next generation, our younger members, high school, college, and even those who are in the beginning stages of their career.

So we have breakout sessions that are geared towards both of those groups, either career exploration, leadership development, or tools that, you know, you might need to work on as you get into your career and start working on the farm or any ag related industry.

Um, we also have the discussion meet, um, that will be on Saturday.

And if you're unfamiliar with the discussion meet, um, it's a, it's a competition that's geared, that's, it's a public speaking competition, but it's more than that.

It kind of, um, is simulating a committee meeting.

So, um, you're judged on, um, not just your public speaking, but your ability to collaborate with others, um, active listening, receiving feedback, coming to consensus.
