I read an interesting Substack, uh, by Ga- Katie, Katie Gatti Tassin, and she had a blurb in it where she was talking about people who are, like her brother-in-law, who's just like naturally very frugal-

... and, uh, lives his, below his means, and he's a surgeon.

And

similarly, I think Caro and Katie make this point in the Diabolical Lies episode about Alex Earl and Alex Cooper.

The women who are accusing Alex Cooper of a toxic workplace environment are ultimately women who want to be her friend and look up to her as this kind person.

of friend rather than seeing her as a boss or a business associate and actually that kind of thinking would never be applied to a male business owner or a male podcaster we wouldn't expect them to act like their employee's friend you would see them as a boss first and foremost like there's actually some misogyny at play there.

Yeah, you're just cannibalizing content.

That's so true.

I also was really struck by a Substack note from our fave Katie Gatti-Tassin, who is one of the co-hosts of Diabolical Lies.

And she said the amount of times the fact that Alex is doing all the things she's doing at 25 years old and how she's not like normal 25 year olds who just get to hang out with her friends all the time is such a strange sentiment.
