Katie Finneran

And Kay Finneran

... and Katie Finneran both won the Tony for that one song number.

A great, a great track.

Show up in act two, s- have a drink, sing a song.

Backstage Babble is a podcast interviewing professionals in the theater industry about themselves, their careers, and the people they've worked with along the way.

And today, I am thrilled to be joined by two-time Tony-winning actress Katie Finneran, who has starred in Annie, Promises Promises, My Favorite Year, Noises Off, The Thanksgiving Play, The Receptionist, Two Shakespearean Actors, It's Only a Play, Mauritius, Cabaret, The Heiress, and The Iceman Cometh.

And now, without further ado, here's Katie Finneran.

Good to meet you, and congratulations, too, on The Receptionist, which was fantastic.

Oh, thank you so much.

I'm just not, my favorite thing to do is just sing Oklahoma when somebody's behaving badly.

You just go, oh, Oklahoma weather, when you come sweeping on the plane.

What do you do? Like, Katie Finneran started singing Oklahoma, like, and she interrupted my bad behavior.

I mean, even it gets like a 4.4. You're not ready for this cast, dude.

Emma Stone, Stephen Merchant, Richard Gere, Dennis Quaid, Greg Kinnear, Common, Will Sasso, Charlie Sexton, Odessa Rae, Seth MacFarlane, Hugh Jackman, Julie Clare, Anna Madigan, Kate Winslet, Kate Finneran, and the list goes on.

Elizabeth Banks.

I mean, it's insanity.
