It's their operation, and I don't think this was some Mike thing at all.

I think this was Duke and his staff doing the legwork and putting this deal for Dexter Lawrence on Katie Blackburn's desk and saying, "I- we can do this, and this is a better use of the number 10 overall pick.

It makes us better." They wanted an impact player that could change the 2026 Bengals with the number 10 pick, and it was not there when they looked at it.
