Kathy Valentine

Mm

... we recruited Kathy Valentine, who was a Austin, Texas girl who had moved out to Hollywood to seek fame and fortune, and after we ended up playing with her, she was just so good that unfortunately we were kinda like, "Eh, Margot's out." And we were too chicken-

Aw

... to tell her ourselves, so we made our manager do it, who, our manager-

F- And then we got, um, Clem Burke, um, I asked him if he wanted to play on the Go-Go's song, and he was like, "Yeah.

You want Kathy to play bass?" And we were like, "Yeah." So it became me, and Melanie, and Clem, and Kathy s- for that single.

And then for the next single, Bad, Bad Boy, it was me, and Melanie, Kathy, and Clem, and then that's when he got ill.

And he was like, "I wanna do it," so he, we did.

We did that last single with Clem.

I mean, like, Kim's gone.

People wanna see Kim, you know?" He's like, "Come on." And I was already, I knew that, like, Blondie usually toured around that time, so I was like, Clem will be out, and we don't have the money.

And Kathy, w- we just, you know, she was, like, moving to the UK, and I was like, we can't ...

Blue heaven is a place on earth.

Beyond just her appearance at the Women's Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in LA, the 5th through the 8th of November, uh, there as well, her Go-Go mate, Kathy Valentine, Kate Pierson from the B-52's, Sherry Curry.

Oh, what fun that's gonna be.

Wish I could be a part of the sisterhood, but you know what? I'm not.
