Naturally, Julie's beside herself with excitement because this is the first song of hers that anyone has ever recorded.

And of course, it's because of Nancy's recording that people like Kathy Mattea, um, Judy Collins, and even The Byrds, uh, recorded it, and, as we know, it didn't stop there either.

Flowers, notes, and memorials have appeared around the city, and the Opry will honor her on Saturday night as the Grand Ole Opry will dedicate its Saturday, August the 29th show to Dolly's life and legacy.

Scheduled performers include Carly Pearce, Kathy Mattea, T. Graham Brown, Molly Tuttle, who's just now recently married, congratulations, Dan Tyminski, Channing Wilson, who I love so good, and Belle France.

Gonna be a really good show, so...

The Opry has already begun paying tribute, as Rhonda Vincent performed Coat of Many Colors, 9 to 5, and Jolene, while Morgan Myles performed I Will Always Love You this week.

And so I knew that Kathy Mattea, also a West Virginian...

Now, I wasn't friends with Kathy Mattea, but somehow I got her number and said I was there, and I said, "What do you think I should do?" And she said, "You should go to ASCAP," which is one of the people that-

He'll be performing as part of Mountain Stage this Sunday here in Charleston at the, the Culture Center.

We had the, the host of the show, Kathy Mattea, on the program yesterday to talk about, uh, this, uh, tremendous lineup of talent that'll be here in Charleston on Sunday.
