Lemuria is hosting yet another book signing on Wednesday in Jackson.

From 4 to 6 p.m., Catherine Stockett, author of the hit book The Help, will be signing her latest historical fiction novel called The Calamity Club.

To go along with the event, Broad Street Bakery will have a lineup of special drinks and snacks, Levure will serve themed wine at a discounted price, and MC's Needlepoint will sell discounted themed canvases.

The bookstore is encouraging guests to arrive early and bring their Lemuria purchased copy of Stockett's book.

So, worth the wait.

But its title is The Calamity Club, and it is set in Oxford, Mississippi in 1933.

And for those of you who have read Catherine Stockett before, she's a southerner.

I was worried a little bit that the title, The Calamity Club, sounded something like Fanny Flag.
