Kathleen Munroe

Now we're going to meet the next character.

This is Alice Tavner, played by Kathleen Monroe.

This is John's wife.

And we're going to see this kind of beautiful relationship.

Uh, every Thursday, by the way, 8:00 PM, Citytv, and you can stream it on Citytv+.

Dana Mori talking to, uh, Luke Kirby and Kathleen Munroe, who are on the show.

Um-

They were in the, they were in the hallways hanging out here a lot last week, and I kept running into them, like, awkwardly.

[laughs]

Right? And I was like, "Oh, God, we're gonna do this all day."

Here's Dana Mori with Luke Kirby and Kathleen Munroe from, uh, Law & Order: Toronto: Criminal Intent.

What's the biggest crime someone can commit on a first date?

So I've spoken.

So Kathleen Monroe was a guest on my live.

She's a guest on my live podcast recording.

And then she had so much fun.

Yeah, I'm very excited for it.

Again, like you were saying, I started watching a couple episodes.

I was like, oh, I should learn because I'm interviewing Kathleen Monroe twice.

And then I ended up watching all of the episodes.

Joining us on the show today is Luke Kirby joining season four of the show.

And alongside Luke, we have Kathleen Munroe, who's been killing it on all four seasons of the show so far.

We've seen a few episodes of the latest season, and it's exactly what you could want from a Law & Order show.

And let me tell you, I did not know Toronto had that much crime.

The police are knocking on my door.

They're coming to get me now.

So please welcome Luke Kirby and Kathleen Munroe to the Movie Podcast.

[upbeat music] Luke, Kathleen, thank you both so much for sharing your time with us today on the Movie Podcast.

The new season of Law & Order Toronto has just begun.

The first episode of the season is out now, and it's starring Emmy Award-winning Canadian Luke Kirby and Kathleen Monroe.

I love seeing Luke Kirby back on Canadian television.

You most recently saw him in the Amazon Prime Video show, Etoile, Etoile, is that how you said it? It was like the Parisian ballet show.

He's born in Hamilton, raised in Guelph.

He's a true Ontario boy.

And now he's here as our new lead detective alongside Kathleen Monroe, who is also from Hamilton.

How fun, Hamilton duo.
