So it's been a while since we've seen Kasidy, and here she comes back-

Again, the B-plot in this episode is insane.

Meanwhile, in the side plot...

Cisco learns that his girlfriend Cassidy Yates has been offered a job on Bajor and is considering moving to the station.

Instead of congratulating her, Cisco can only express his anxiety about escalating their relationship, but Cisco's friends and his son Jake convince him to apologize to her.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

The show's visual representation of black women remained limited.

Cassidy Yates, played by Penny Johnson, had presence without the sustained development that Cisco, Jake, and Joseph received.

And that is a true testament to, you know, you can honestly say that's one of the things that they, a misstep that they made.

Yes.

As Klingon soldiers spread throughout the station, they cause disruptions, beat up the Cardassian tailor, and former spy Garak.

A Klingon ship detains Cassidy Yates' freighter to search the ship for changelings.

It takes a show of force from Sisko and the Defiant to convince the Klingon commander to chill out, but the Klingons continue detaining ships just outside Deep Space Nine's jurisdiction.
