And my gosh, what's the big jazz club? was on the corner above it that was the landmark i think uh thing and then you know some places moved in but but m bar and grow was the first place to really have you know alternative live music and stuff and that included a lot of like weird singer songwriters and eventually like the california outside music association you know vinnie golia and all the all this uh great creative music you know And every Saturday, Carl Denson had a regular Saturday gig there where he played unaccompanied.
