Karg

Yes, an actual character pulled from the '80s newspaper comic strip.

And throwing even more evil into the mix with Spikor, Karg, Goat Man, and Pig-Boy.

Okay.

Okay, never heard of any of these guys? Well, that's what we're here for today.

Despite having different starting points, these next three baddies share one thing in common.

None of them started out as toys.

Take the evil master of cruelty, Commander Karg, who started out as a budget problem.

So back to the 1987 live action movie.

So this film contains references to all iterations of He-Man, both animated and the previous live action.

For example, Karg, from 1987's Masters of the Universe, appears in the film alongside Trapjaw.

Karg was originally meant to substitute for Trapjaw in the previous film.

And then I mentioned this about Jared Leto.

Jared Leto was completely left out of the marketing.

Here we go.

So these are just to throw out a few of the references to the 1987 Masters of the Universe, because those are the most important ones.

The characters of Karg and Pig Boy make an appearance.
