And what we're trying to do is collect a literal 10,000 questions from students all over the country about God, faith, and life, and hear their heart.

And it really started because of something Kara Powell said out of Fuller Youth Institute.

I was listening to a podcast that she was on, and she said that often when she sits down with students, she hears some sort of sentiment of, "I wish the church would answer the questions I'm actually asking."

So I think it's, like, question-

... what, what's the Kara Powell quote, uh, about they, they wish the church was answering questions?

Questions.

And at the same time, I was doing a lot of research and reading from places like Barna and Fuller Youth Institute and secular researchers also about Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

And one of the things that Kara Powell says from Fuller Youth Institute is that a lot of times when she would interview students, she would hear some sort of sentiment of, I wish the church would answer the questions I'm actually asking.

And so I was so burdened by those two things of like what I was experiencing as a coach and them saying, I don't feel like we're connecting with the hearts of kids.

And then this research coming out from students that kind of affirmed that and said, like, you're not connecting with our hearts.
