Affinity in Modern is a good mix between a deck that can reward you for playing well.

It also has that good proactive, strong, just broken opening hands that sometimes you're just going to play a really quick Kappa Cannoneer and it doesn't matter what your opponent is doing, which is really good to look for in some of those long tournaments where you could be really tired, but sometimes your deck just saves the day and does something really strong.

Yeah, and it's kind of the same thing with Affinity, where, yeah, they don't have a lot of 2s, and maybe weapons isn't, like, that great in a lot of situations, but they are trying to make this massive amount of artifacts and Kappa you, and this is a way to burn you out, and if they don't have the thing that generates multiple artifacts, they're kind of boned.
