Kapotnya District

Petersburg? Swarms of them head for Moscow, but they generally don't manage to get through to the city itself.

They do make it as far as Kapotnya, but even then, as they say, a lot of them get shot down.

And there are defenses in place.

Why can't the same kind of air defense system be set up around St. Petersburg? I'm just asking questions.

Several Russian companies are claiming to be developing balloon barriers, but only the scientific production enterprise Spetsradio has been able to demonstrate a fully ready system in action.

How many such balloons are needed to cover the oil refinery in Kapotnya? Well, to provide protection for such a large area, it will be necessary to have at least 10 of these aerostat complexes, which will prevent the passage of unmanned vehicles.

Ideally, an aerial drone trap should work like this.

The G-part complex, using radars, determines at what altitude the enemy drone is flying, and the automatic winches of the aerostats adjust the lift of the entire barrier system so that the cables end up directly in the kamikaze drone's flight path.
