Kaos

What will happen to the LGBTQ community after this day? They can implement a kind of informal criminalization upon our community.

Homosexuality has been legal since the foundation of the Turkish Republic in 1923. but authorities are using an obscenity law to pursue their crackdown, explains Yıldız Tar of the Ankara-based KAOS, Turkey's leading LGBTQ news portal.

All of our board members are detained due to the allegations of obscenity.

They look into our social media account and our news articles are seen as obscene because, for example, there is one picture of two women kissing and they see that it's obscene.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan routinely refers to LGBTQ plus members as perverts and has been ramping up his rhetoric ahead of much rumored early elections.

However, the crackdown has drawn widespread condemnation from Turkey's civil society, including trade unions, doctor associations, as well as opposition parties.

For KAOS editor Yıldız Tar, such support is welcome, helping to

strengthen his resolve.

Chaos.

Was this like Man, or, um, Get Smart? Chaos, K-A-O-S, Chaos.

Oh, yeah.

Mm-hmm.

[laughs] I vaguely remember this.

The James Bond spoof originally aired on NBC featuring two agents working for a government counterintelligence agency called CONTROL, and was in a constant battle with the evil organization KAOS.

The series won seven Emmys, including two for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Deadline reports comedian John Mulaney is in talks to play Maxwell Smart.
