We are here with our friends at the Kansas Lottery.

And boy, are we having a lot of fun here at the House of Capper.

That's what we got for you today.

It is a very hot day here in September in Hutch.

But, hey, we're here at the Kansas State Fair, and we are so excited to be out this way.

We have had people come out this way to House of Capper to throw in a couple of questions in a little bucket I have in front of me, and I'll address a few questions here in just a little bit.

And normally we'd be live streaming the show, but not today.

If you want to see us, you're going to have to come out in person here in Hutchinson at the Kansas State Fair.

But we're at the Kansas State Fair.

It is September 18th, and we are headed for a high today of 95 degrees.

So summer is not quite finished yet, apparently.

We're in Hutchinson today.

I still think it's a Republican hold, but I'm less confident in that than I had been.

And so the anecdote that I referred to a few minutes ago comes from the Kansas State Fair.

Senator Marshall from Kansas is running for reelection.

He's out campaigning in Kansas.

Kansas State Fair is not exactly a hotbed of progressivism, right? And any time he mentioned the tariffs and tried to defend the administration, the boos were overwhelming.

And that suggests to me that rural voters, farmers are pretty angry.

And that's a problem for Republicans.
