To me, it seems more like it would have been a throwaway track to people who are making a compilation album about the whales and all profits from that album.

And a very successful artist with the Warner Brothers, and they turned it down.

We were at a point, Bob, where they were turning down and I was going, wait a minute.

You're turning down REO? You're turning down Kansas? If you couldn't hear Carry On Wayward Son as a hit song, rest his soul, Bud Carr, their manager, he would come into my office and he'd say, you think it's a hit? I said, I don't think it's a hit.

I know it's a hit.

An example, I have foreigner tours now, right? They got the name Foreigner, they're playing all the Foreigner tunes, not one original member left in that band.

And I just recently saw Kansas and Deep Purple at Ravinia, and Kansas does not have one original member left in the band.

So just want to get your thoughts on it.

I mean, I know my thought, but I just want to get your opinion on bands touring with no original members with the name playing the music.

I feel like they have a product and a standard to live up to because they are they're not just any tribute band they are the band so they really work to strive for that standard because people are paying good money to see them and they know that so I am not against that at all and especially with Ronnie Platt in Kansas my husband will go on and on and on about he how amazing he is and he really does live up to being in fulfilling the role of the Kansas lead singer so Yeah, I think it's perfectly fine.

We were cruising through Canada.

We just did a bunch of shows with Deep Purple in Kansas.

And of course, Simon McBride is the lead guitar player of Deep Purple.

We're going to dive into his appearance on this podcast from, I mean, from the first tour that I did with Deep Purple.

And it was a really fun 45 minutes.

And of course these other bands are so killer.

Now Kansas is crushing it these days.
