Kansas City Marathon

Boy, I could be 6-0-0-0-0 and be completely happy.

All right, well, we know in October I'm pacing as a sweeper the Garmin Kansas City Marathon.

They want that done in six and a half hours.

Okay, so I'm going to try and sweep a six and a half hour full marathon.

So just be prepared.

But yeah, there's a little fear, there's anticipation, and there's doubt because, yeah, I doubt I'm going to enjoy six and a half hours on that course.

I've seen years with the Garmin Kansas City Marathon where it's gotten damn hot in the afternoon.

And that's something I'm just going to have to be ready for.

Just be aware.

Be very aware, because we had it here in the Kansas City Marathon a few years ago, where some old guy, that sounds mean, but it's true, had some kind of medical issue while behind the wheel of his car and went barreling on to the freaking Kansas City Marathon course.

And he didn't hurt anybody, thank you, great race director in the sky, but he wrecked his car on the course, and I was one of the people who went running around it because the scene was still active, surrounded by cops, clearly, surrounded by ambulances, surrounded by first responders, and thank you to all of you, but if someone had been running too far to the right, if someone wasn't paying attention, this guy could've taken out a runner.

All right? And, and that, that wasn't someone being crazy.
